The image I am sharing with you today is WHAT BIG EYES ... from THE EYES OF ADVENTURE and FABLE COLLECTION.  I really love this image because she is so versatile.

For the tag I used an  INKSENTIALS CRAFT TAG - MANILA #8.  The background colors are DYLUSION SPRAYS - FRESH LIME AND SQUEEZED ORANGE...Several stamps were used - DYLUSION - BIT AND BATS,  and   DYLUSION - BIRDS ON A WIRE.  I added some BLACK DIAMOND  and STARDUST STICKLES on the bat and bird. 

The bats in the corner are flying around DIES BY SCACD - SUN AND MOON STATEMENT CORNER.  However, I cut it up so below is a picture of the entire die.

HER MAJESTY'S EYES

Sorry I am so late with this post.  Hope all of you had a wonderful weekend!!

 

I would like to share this beautiful stamp with you.  It is  HER MAJESTY'S EYES from THE EYES OF FABLES COLLECTION.  Isn't she just gorgeous?

 

She is colored with Copics and highlighted with COPIC GLITTER PENS.

 

 

The background is an  INKSENTIALS CRAFT TAG - #8  sprayed with Dylusion Spray  POSTBOX RED  and CRUSHED GRAPE.    The heart border at the top and the corners at the bottom were also sprayed with CRUSHED GRAPE.

 

There were several different stamps used for the background.  The black hearts is from the DYLUSION INBETWEENIES SET.  A CRAFTERS WORKSHOP STENCIL - SWIRLS & FLOWERS  was used for the red hearts.  I stenciled with red paint and went around them with a charcoal pencil.  The dark purple lines were stamped with an IMPRESSION OBSESSION CLING STAMP - THIN LINES.

 

Also, in the background in dark purple is the accessory stamp that comes with HER MAJESTY'S EYES.

DIES DIES AND MORE DIES !!

Hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend! I am in TN visiting my daughter and it is gorgeous here. This is my first time to visit the state of TN and it is fall here. She lives in the country and the trees are changing and the colors of purple, gold, orange, and green are like a picture.
 





Today I would like to show you some of the GORGEOUS DIES BY SCACD.  I own different brands of dies and I have to tell ya - even as intricate as these are they cut beautifully and without any extra work.

This is a door I will eventually use on a card, mixed media, or some other project.  I haven't decided if I will put a Christmas Wreath or Autumn Wreath on it and make a card or use it in my art journal.  There are so many possibilities - even a Welcome to Your New Home. 

The background is embossed and I used different LUMINARTE SILKS ACRYLIC GLAZES in various colors.  I just applied one a time, wiped off, and just kept adding until I achieved the look I wanted.

Look at the intricate details  of this hinge and so easy to cut.

This beautiful die is actually 2 dies.  The knob is a separate die from the doorplate which makes it really versatile.

  

I want to show you just a couple more the beautiful Dies by SCACD.  Remember these can be cut up and used in various ways.

 

 

 Wouldn't these corners be great on Fall or Halloween Corners?  They are beautiful on any card.

SUSANA LOVES STAMPS - NEW RELEASE

Good Morning and WELCOME to our BLOG HOP!!

It is time for another exciting SCACD Stamp Release!!  SCACD is thrilled to bring you the follow up to the super sweet  EYES OF BEAUTY AND DREAMS COLLECTION with  NEWEST EYES OF ADVENTURE AND FABLES COLLECTION.  The eyes just capture your heart and each stamp comes with an accessory stamp.  I would like to introduce you to STEAMPUNK EYES.

Lately, the last couple of projects I have done have been more of a mixed media project.  The pictures of this tag do not do it justice, the image is so cool down to the gears on her boots.   The image is colored with COPICS and the gears on her boots are colored with a COPIC GLITTER PEN - CHOCOLATE.  For the background I used TH dye inks and Stazon.  The background stamps are the HAT  (accessory to STEAMPUNK EYES)  and the MAP (accessory to ADVENTURE EYES) .  I also used was a DYLUSION STENCIL - LETTER JUMBLE . 

Isn't this hat super cool and detailed?  I love it because you can use it with so many different images.  It is the accessory stamp that comes with STEAMPUNK EYES.  If you click on any of the images they will enlarge.  The watch has a little gloss applied and on the gears I used my COPIC GLITTER PEN - GOLD.

Here is a closeup of the MAP.    It is the accessory stamp that comes with ADVENTURE EYES. This is a great stamp for backgrounds and ADVENTURE EYES is awesome.

Good Morning,

Hope all of you have had a wonderful week. The weather here in Texas has cooled down to the 90's, but at night it gets down to the high 70's and it is soooooo nice. I sit out on the patio a little last night and played with the furbabies. We have dog doors so they can go in and out as they please, but they like to be where I am. They are just a little spoiled.hehe

 Now, to my page. I took more pictures because I was trying to capture the true colors of the page, but it is difficult when you have shine.

This page I took in a different light it could tone down the shine and you could see the detail better.  The background is done with acrylics and then I used LUMINARTE ACRYLIC  SILK GLAZE  in KEY LIME  and the LUMINARTE PRIMARY ELEMENT MICA POWDER  in WISTERIA to add the shine.

The stamps I used are:  STAMPOTIQUE PROM QUEEN, STAMPOTIQUE - MR STRIPES, DYLUSIONS - FURTHER AROUND THE EDGE (leaves), DYLUSIONS - BITS AND BATS (cat).  I used a CREATIVE WORKSHOP STENCIL - RUSTIC PAINT for the black you see in the background.  The leaves were colored with DYLUSIONS INKS - CUT GRASS.

Oh, one more thing - DID YOU NOTICE the paint on the spider.  It is the new VIVA DECOR 3D STAMP PAINT - VIOLET.  This paint is really cool because it dries according to how you apply it.  In this case I applied with a brush, but dabbed it on and it dried raised and with texture.  There is a closeup below.  You can click on any of the pictures and they will enlarge.

 

 This picture kinda reflects the shine and some of the colors.  It does all blend together nicely, just hard to capture in the right light.

In this picture, I was trying to capture the texture.  I used a 2 ply napkin and when I applied it the second layer texture came through - this was accidental - but I thought it looked kinda cool.  I just love MR STRIPES.  I think he is so cute.

I hope you enjoyed viewing this page.  I have found it is sooooo much fun to create these pages and just be free, even though they never turn out the way I planned.  Just go with the flow. hehe

First, I would like to take a moment to remember the lives lost on 9/11/2001.  

Man, do I have a lot of goodies to share with you today. I couldn't add all the pictures or my post would go on forever,  so please go and check out the STORE.

ALWAYS FOLLOW YOUR HEART

Hope all of you had a wonderful holiday weekend!  The weather here in Texas was hot and dry - so looking forward to fall (allergy season). lol  

As you can see, I am still practicing using mixed media.  I have found when I start a page it never ends up the way I had planned - stamps change, ink changes, etc.  .  However, it is still a lot of fun to use different stamps and products.  The best part about it is when you make  a mistake you can just cover it up. hehe

For the  main image image on my page I used a  STAMPOTIQUE ORIGINALS - GIRL WITH A HEART PURSE .  For the background I used DYLUSION INKS - BUBBLEGUM PINK  and VIBRANT TURQUOISE.   The background script with the heart is a UNITY STAMP - FOLLOW YOUR HEART (which includes the sentiment on the heart),  the heart border is a DYLUSION STAMP - INBETWEENIES, the bottom border is a DYLUSION STAMP - FURTHER AROUND THE EDGE, the heart with swirls was made using a CRAFTERS WORKSHOP STENCIL - SWIRLS AND FLOWERS.  The sentiment on the large heart comes with the UNITY STAMPS - FOLLOW YOUR HEART  and last, but not least, is the large sentiment which is from the ANDY SKINNER CLEAR ACRYLIC STAMP SET - WORD UP.  I think I gave you the recipe for everything.
