Today SCACD releases the sequel to the oh so popular ODDLY SWEET CURIOSITIES!!!

This is a fun and fresh stamp Collection from SUSANA LOVES STAMPS!!! We proudly introduce the ODDLY SWEET CURIOSITIES SETS 3 and 4 which house some of the cutest little Curiosities with matching sentiments. SCACD has continued with the appeal these little Curios have that are a combination of inspiration as well as happiness thru laughter the best medicine!!! Each Curiosity comes with its own matching sentiment. So pick up one or the whole set so you can mix and match the sentiments.  I want to share two of the little guys with you - CLUELESS  and THE THINKER .  The little CLUELESS makes me happy . Sometimes that is how I feel - just crazy and happy.  The ONE IN A MILLION  has the sweetest little face.  One of my puppies has the same little sweet look. 

 

There are lots of different stamps and stencils used in the background so I will list them below.  For the bright colors I used DYLUSIONS INK SPRAY.  The images were colored with Copics and then I used some gloss on them.

Good Morning,

It's Friday!!  I don't remember if I told you guys I am visiting my grandchildren in beautiful Hawaii.  It is so relaxing and beautiful here.  Will be here for another week checking out other beaches and malls and then head home.

LIVE LIFE EACH DAY ON PURPOSE

BLANK CANVAS COLLECTION

Good Morning,

It's mid-week - YEA !  The weather here is rainy, cold, and dreary.  We do 

need it, but we seem to get it at once.

Today I am sharing with you the lovely  BLANK CANVAS PROFILE SET.  I 

know there are soooo many different ways to use them.  Since I am 

experimenting and playing with mixed media these days, I wanted to do a 

page with a meaning.  The sentiments "BELIEVE" and LIVE EACH DAY ON 

PURPOSE" are "LOCKHART  STAMPS".  SCACD  has a lot of these cute little 

phrases.  I like these because they are small and can be used as background 

stamps as well.  The background was made using various stencils which you 

can find  HERE.  Susana is now stocking various stamps, stencils, paints, etc 

which are wonderful for creating whether you are creating a card, journal, or 

altered fun.

LITTLE DRACO

Good Morning,

Is everyone getting back to normal after the holidays?  Here it is dreary and raining so for me that is good crafting time.  However, for others it is kinda humbug.  We are used to having sunshine and miss it.

Today I am sharing a canvas with you.  The background was so much fun - used acrylics and gelatos.  LITTLE DRACO   is from the THE MYTHICAL REFLECTIONS COLLECTION.  

I really wanted to center the canvas around LITTLE DRACO and so I started digging through my stash to see what I had.  That's where I found the coins, cord, and saying.  The saying basically means good health, prosperity, and long life.  At least, that is what I was told.

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

Good Morning!  

First I want to let you know SCACD is having a sale this week and Susana has lots of new products in - so be sure and check it out.

It feels soooo good to be back crafting after the holidays.  Today I am going to share a tag with you.  DYLUSION INK SPRAYS in CRUSHED GRAPE, POSTBOX RED, AND  PURE SUNSHINE were used for the background.  The little flowers are KAISERCRAFT WOODEN BERRY VINE  and TH dye ink.  The wonderful sentiment BELIEVE is a CRAFT INDIVIDUALS STAMP .  What better sentiment to start the new year.

The extra dimension was added by using masking tape and a hot glue gun. This is a new technique for me so I still have some practice to do, but I still like the way it turned out.

To finish it off I used some KAISERCRAFT PERLS and some ribbon from my stash.

FOLLOW YOUR HEART

 Well, it is the busy busy time of the year.  This is the first Christmas I will not see any of my children or grandchildren, but we do have skype and facetime so that helps a little.  My son in laws are in the Army so they are in different states - TN and Hawaii.

On to today's page.  I played with mm today and created this page.  Actually, it was more like 5 days because I am still learning.  I have discovered one of my problems is I keep adding and adding and then it is too jumbled. 

I used DYLUSION INK - LONDON BLUE and used gesso to lighten in places.  The dark edges were made using gelato.  Acyrlic Paint was used for the large hearts.

Stencils used were CRAFTERS WORKSHOP -  CHICKEN WIRE, BASKETWEAVE (designed by Victoria Case), SPILLED HEARTS (small hearts).

Stamps used were CRAFTY INDIVIDUALS and the zig zag around the edges is from the DYLUSIONS INBETWEENIES.

BUNDLED UP AND READY FOR CHRISTMAS

I can't believe it is December and that Christmas is just around the corner.  Where did the year go?

I haven't done an easel card in a long time.  These are so much fun I should make more.  Today I am sharing this cute little girl all BUNDLED UP and ready to play in the snow.  A cold front came in last night and it is cold, but we very seldom get snow in Texas.  However, we lived in Aurora, CO for 13 years and we saw plenty of snow and this is what this card reminds me of.  My snow really is white, but for some reason the camera didn't get a pretty white glistening snow.  This image is from the SAMPLER #7 by ELISABETH BELL. There are some really cute images in this collection. 

The chipboard tree is from my stash and I just dabbed some dye ink on it and applied some GEM SPARKLERS on it.  I love these little things and I think they stick better than rhinestones. 

A PETALOO CHIPBOARD GATE is behind her.  It is painted with black acyrlic paint and then I sponged on some DELICATA PIGMENT INK - GOLDEN GLITZ.
