IT'S FREEBIE FRIDAY TIME AGAIN...........

Isn't this guy adorable? I can't wait to use him for a fall card. Fall is just around the corner, even though here in Texas you wouldn't know that.

TROPICAL PARADISE

Doesn't this make you want to go and lie on a beach somewhere? I used a technique on this card that I have wanted to try forever. I stamped my images with Stazon on acetate and then colored the back side with Copics and added Stickles. I am entering this card in the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge. I also entered it in the Roses on Paper Challenge and The Creative Inspirations Challenge.



I used three stamps by Great Impressions. I stamped the fish, masked it, stamped the plant, masked it, and stamped the sand and shells. On the outside of the acetate, I have the fish a little google eye and the bubbles are Rain Dots by Cloud 9. I finished off the card with sheer ribbon and a gold fish charm. I didn't do as many layers as I normally do, because the design did not call for it. The three panels are popped up and then I popped up the image.



The DP is so pretty I was able to keep the inside simple. I cut at the yellow shell with cardstock and chalked it, which makes a nice place to write a short note.

Get your sunglasses on for this card. It is so bright and cheerful !!! The image is from Digital Delights. This little guy is so full of joy and happiness you can't help but smile when you look at his face. It's as though he is saying "Hi" or that he wants to celebrate with you. It is such a versatile image it can be used for many occasions.

There are ten layers on the front of this card. The image cut out two times and popped up, and the face was popped up a third time. The image was colored with Copics and I used waxy flax in the buttons. The grass is glossed with Crystal Effects. Of course, I had to add some stickles.

I tried to capture the many layers.

I liked the happiness on this little guy's face so much I used him on the inside as well.

The paper is K & Company backed with SU cardstock. I used MS punch and machine stitching.

SWEET SWEET MAGGIE

These sweet images are digis from Digital Delights. This is my first time to use digis and they were so much fun. You can size them, emboss them, and color however you want. I used two digis - Maggie and Maggie background. Check out Wendy's digis. She has some really awesome ones. The paper is SEI and CTMH. I made this card for the Friday Sketchers challenge, Creative Card Crew challenge, Simon Says challenge and Creative Inspirations challenge.

I painted the flowers and clouds with shimmerez. The picture does not capture the shimmering of the clouds. If you click on the picture you can see her vest and hair bows are paper pieced. The dragonfly is a metal embellishments and I have added gems.

The images are colored with Copics and some are accented with shimmerez. I paper toled the images for a 3D dimension. Maggie was colored and popped up three times.

The inside is finished out with a MS punch and a stamped flower. The flower is colored with copics and accented with a Spica pen. It is popped up once.

HAPPY JULY 4TH

I made this card for the Delightful Sketch Challenge. This is their first challenge, be sure and check them out. The stamp is from The Craft Lounge and the DP is Rock Star a Daisy Bucket Design. With fireworks exploding, I thought this would make a perfect shaker card. I am also entering this card in the ABC challenge , Stamp Something, Charisma Cardz Challenge, Allsorts Challenge, Cute Card Thursday, and Cafe Mojo.

The image is stamped, heat embossed and colored with Copics. The picture doesn't show it very well, but I used a Spica pen on the fireworks to add a touch of glitter. The beads are red, blue, and gold.


The DP is so pretty and perfect for the 4th, the inside didn't need any extras, other than a place to write a short note. The curly ribbon adds a nice touch.
