SPOT OF TEA

Good Morning!! Did you guys have a fabulous weekend? It was a little cooler (95) here this weekend and it was nice. Hopefully, the 100 plus days are over for the rest of the year. Don't you just love this new set from Elisabeth Bell for SCACD Animapeeps? I think this is one of my favorite sets - at least for now. (lol)

This image is "Spot of Tea". It reminds me of having tea parties with my granddaughter. She is 5 and loves to dress up and have a tea party. It is colored with Copics. I tried to give her a bushy tail. I did her blouse with the the Smooch Illuminate to give it a little shimmer. The teapot and cups have Viva Pearl Pen - Ice White on them to make them look like China, then I put Diamond Glaze over them.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Stampin' for the Weekend
- Anything Goes
Friday Sketchers
For Fun Challenge - Ribbon or Lace
Pixie Dust Studio Challenge - Stitch It Up
CES Challenge - Anything Goes
Stamps R Us - Stitches
Practical Scrappers - White Pen

The flowers are the Innoscence Collection - Carnation. They were white and I used my Copic to color them and then sprayed with the Maya Mist - Iridescent Pearl. These Mists are wonderful and spray so even. You can click on any of the pictures to enlarge them and get a better idea of the beautiful shimmer.

Please check out the other DT projects here. I am always amazed at the creativity and different styles used with the same stamp.

NEW STAMPS - Susana has in a new stamp line - Clear Acrylic Stamps by Pergamano from Europe. These stamps are way beyond being CUTE. Gotta check them out.

Thank you for stopping bye. I appreciate all my followers and I do read all the comments and enjoy visiting your blogs.

STENCIL CHALLENGE - TIOT #81

Good Morning !!! I apologize for this being a short post, for some reason my entire post disappeared from blogger and I am on my way to catch a plane. Look at this little Sprite - isn't she sweet? She is "Sprite" and comes free when you purchase the Victoria Case Aurora Collection #2.

The challenge this week was to Stencil It. I used a Dreamweaver Stencil. I stenciled with Dye Ink and then with a Versamark Pen traced over the butterflies and added Dreamweaver Mica Powder for shine. I just couldn't stop there so I used my Viva Glitter Pen and added some more sparkle. The pearls were made with the Viva Cream Pearl Pen.

The image was colored with Copics and more pearls added for accent. The lavender pearls are Kaisercraft flatback adhesive.

Here is a close up picture of the stencil. There are so many different ways to use these stencils and be creative.

Please check out the other DT projects here today and then again on Thursday.

Thank you for stopping bye and be sure and check out all the NEW PRODUCTS Susana has received in the store. She is getting in more and more everyday.

WALK IN THE PARK - TIOT #80

Good Morning!! Isn't this just the cutest little mouse? The image is "Aurora - Walk in the Park" from the Aurora Collection #2 by Victoria Case for SCACD. If you purchase the entire set there is a special bonus - Aurora's little Sister - Sprite.

The challenge this week was to use one of the images from the Aurora Collection #2 together with Flower Soft and Viva (if you wanted to). The image is stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. I accented Aurora's clothes and the little ponytail butterfly with Viva Glitter Pen. Now, to the most fun part. I used Ultra Fine Flower Soft - Sand on the little mouse and accented his collar with the Viva Glitter Pen and gave him a small google eye. I used regular Flower Soft in the center of the flowers. To finish off the card I used Kaisercraft Flatback Pearls on one corner and on her hat and the buttons.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

One Stitch at a Time - Mystical
Crafty Cardmakers Spotlight Challenge - Punches
Ooh - la-la Creations - Spots and Dots
ABC Challenge - A is for August
Cute Card Thursday - Whateva
Dutch Dare Card Challenge - Anything Goes
Daring Cardmakers - August Birthstone - Peridot
One Stop Craft Challenge - Summer Fun
Creative Card Crew - Let's Get Cute and Girly

The flowers are from my stash and I used two different MS punches on the background.

OUT ON THE TOWN

Good Morning !!! I have seen this image done is so many different ways. I decided to make her a Luau outfit with Flower Soft. She is "Aurora - Out on the Town" from the Victoria Case Aurora Collection 2.

Aren't the Aurora images fun to color and work with? The DT had a color challenge this week Pink-Green-Blue and Viva products. The image is colored with Copics and accented with Ultrafine Raspberry Fizz Flower Soft. The center of the flower also has the Flower Soft and the stem has been glossed with Diamond Glaze. The pearls on her hat and her shoes were made with the Viva Decor Gloss Pen - Ice White. These pens go a really long way, I barely used any at all for the pearls. The pearls on the border (excuse the pic, I accidentally moved the last pearl and didn't realize it) are Kaisercraft flatback adhesive pearls. The butterflies were made with my MS punch and I used a really cool technique to get them so shiny. I punched the butterfly, put it on my versamark pad and then rubbed on some of the new Dreamweaver Mica Powders. For the edge of the doily I put in on my versamark pad and rubbed the Moonstone Mica.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
One Stitch at a Time - Use a Little Pink
Paper Sundaes - Stitching
Pile it on Challenge - Use Butterflies, Bugs or Bees
The Craft Den Anything Goes Challenge - Punches
The Crazy Challenge - Olive, Fushia, and Teal
One Stop Craft - Patterns
Paperplay - Anything Goes
Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes
Creative Friday - Things with Wings
Creative Card Crew - Let's Get Cute and Girlie
Creative Cottage - Touchy Feely - Stitching, Ribbon, etc.
Here is a close up picture of the butterflies and the edge of the doily. The picture still didn't capture the beautiful sparkle and shine of the Micas, but you can see some.

Be sure and check out the other DT projects here. They will definitely help get your mojo going.
