HI FRIEND !!! - New Release

Good Morning!! It is a frosty morning here !! Not as bad as the Northeast. We only have the cold and winds, but no snow.

Susana is releasing 3 New Stamps today. These are "From the Vault" stamps.

Elisabeth Bell for SCACD - "Winter Friends"
Carmen Medlin for SCACD - "Guardian of Hearth and Home"
Victoria Case for SCACD - "The Yearling"

This image is Victoria Case for SCACD "The Yearling". I just loooove the little fawn and the delightful smile on the little girl's face.

Have you ever had days where in your head you imagined something, but it just didn't turn out that way? KWIM That's kinda the case for my card today. The image is colored with Copics and highlighted with Stickles. I used Flower Soft Ultra Fine - Sand for the ground covering. I was trying to get it to look like dirt or sand.

The DP is "That's Amore" from CTMH. I liked the name of the paper for this image. I think the image is pure love., but then I am an animal lover. I found the flowers in my stash. They are from Prima and go perfectly. The ribbon is the final touch.

Thank you for stopping by this busy busy time of the year. Be sure to check out the other DT projects.

HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!

HANG ON !!

Did everyone have a nice weekend? It turned really cold here, but no snow. I just love this image with the little penguin holding on. They look like they are having so much snow fun. The image is "I've Got Your Back" from the Victoria Case Winter Hearts and Hugs Set. I think this may be my favorite one of the set.

I am entering this project in the following challenges:

Let's Ink It Up - Christmas - Twist add sparkle/bling
One Stitch at a Time - Old Stash New Stash - Old (tin) New (Stamp)
Paper Sundaes - Gift It
Pile It On - It's all in the wrapping
Creative Inspirations - Christmas Gifts
Crafts & Me - Dreaming of a White Christmas

I found this tin with a plastic lid in my stash and decided to alter it. My granddaughter wants me to bring her some Puppy Chow when I go to Colorado in a couple of weeks and this was just perfect to store it in. The image is colored with Copics and accented with Stickles. Since the lid is plastic it was a little bit of a challenge doing the snow. I first painted it on with acrylic paint and then added Polar White Flower Soft with a little Doodlebug Glitter Sugar Coating - Lily White.

The snowflakes were really a challenge. The plastic on the lid is super smooth and slippery so I had a little trouble getting my tape to hold down the stencil. However, I used the Crafters Workshop - Flurries and for the first time I used the Viva Modeling Creme - Pearl Light Blue with a little of the Glitter. This creme is really really nice and goes on so smooth and easy. My snowflakes would have been better if my tape would have held better, but that's okay. I used green tissue paper in the tin because of the reflection of the lid.

Now, before I go Susana has a fantastic NEW PRODUCT in stock. It is the New Sew Easy Tool for those who do not want to sew. The attachment tools are also available.

Thank you for stopping by and please check out the other DT projects here on the store blog. Also, don't forget to check Facebook for store specials.

Have a Wonderful Week !!

Merry Christmas !!

Good Morning! Brrr it is cold this morning - 28 degrees. I was browsing through SCS and saw this treat card box and decided to try making one. I used "Flower Cheer" from the Elisabeth Bell Mini Winter Sampler. Actually, the "Bells of Joy" is a bonus stamp from the Victoria Case for SCACD Mini Winter Hearts and Hugs Set.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

One Stitch At a Time - Bling It Up
Creative Inspirations - Christmas Gift

Creative Craft Challenges - Tag It
For Fun - Anything Goes
Top Tip Tuesday - Anything Goes
Crafty Creations - Christmas is Coming
Paper Cutz - Anything Goes
Just Us Girls - 3-D
Our Creative Corner - Tag - You're It

The transparency was reflecting on my camera lens so I was having a hard time getting good pics. Isn't this paper gorgeous? It is the Basic Grey Jovial which is on sale right now. The beautiful White Velvet Poinsettias by Petaloo really set off the treat box these are also on sale.. Inside the treat box is Godiva Chocolate. My daughter is a chocoholic. The image is colored with Copics and I added a little Stickles on her shirt and the bells.

LET'S GO SKIING

Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! It seems like forever since I last posted. I apologize, I have had the flu and it really got me down. Anyway, I decided to do a little project. The image is from Victoria Case for SCACD - Mini Winter and Hugs. This set is just too cute! "I Heart Powder" is a perfect name for this stamp.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

A Spoonful of Sugar - Anything Goes
Creative Card Crew - Not another card
ABC Challenge - I is for Ice and Snow
Crafts and Me - Snowflakes
Crafty Creations - Christmas is Coming
For Fun Challenge - Anything Goes
Papercutz Challenge - Anything Goes
Stampin for the Weekend - Winter Theme
Just Us Girls - 3-D Challenge
One Stop Craft Challenge - Christmas Cuties

I colored the image with Copics added some Flower Soft Diamond Range - Silver around her hat, coat and boots. For the snow I used Flower Soft Diamond Range - Polar White with a little Doodlebug Glitter Sugar - Lily White for just a little extra glisten. The skis look all waxed and ready to go thanks to a little Diamond Glaze .I will be going to see my grandchildren next month in Colorado and this little tin with this image is perfect for Ski Lift Tickets and small enough for me to carry on the plane. Remember you can click on the picture and enlarge it to see the products up close.

This tin was so much fun and messy to do. I used the Viva Decor Precious Metal Paint - Silver
to paint it - one coat does it. The sides looked kinda plain to me so in my stuff I had some Maya Road Chipboard - Snowflakes and used the Viva Decor Precious Metal Paint in Olive and Crimson.
Here is another angle. The snow looks like it has powder and glistens - the slopes are calling my name.

Please check out the store blog here and see all the beautiful cards and projects the Design Team has been doing while I have been sick. They are totally awesome.

Thank you for stopping by and HAVE A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING !!

JOYS OF THE SEASON

Good Morning,

It is a cool frosty morning here in Texas. This image is a reminder winter and Christmas is just around the corner. She is "First Signs of Fall" from the Reflections Set #1 - Carmen Medlin for SCACD. This set has so many versatile stamps you will definitely want it.

The challenge this week was to make a Christmas Card not using the traditional colors of red, green, gold, or silver. The image is colored with Copics and accented with Stickles. For the snow I used Polar White Flower Soft mixed with some Doodlebug Glitter Sugar. I also used the mixture on the snowflakes.

This picture captures some of the glitz. The swirls and the sentiment stamps also have just a little Stickles - enough to make them sparkle. The DP is from my stash.
Susana has some more new products in stock. She now has new Kaisercraft and My Minds Eye , as well, as BasicGrey Jovial paper. There are new arrivals every day so check the store often.

Now, go over the store blog here and check out the other DT projects.

Thank you stopping by. I appreciate all my followers and comments.

Please be sure to visit everyone's blog and leave a comment. We all appreciate the comments and enjoy reading them.

Now, on to my card. The image is colored with Copics. I put some Diamond Glaze on the teapot and on the leaves to make them glossy. The little skirt on Teapot Mouse has Stickles for some glitz. This card is very glitzy and I had to angle it different ways to take the pictures or it would have blinded you. The DP is from Nana's Kitchen Stack. To finish it off I used Kaisercraft Pearls and Gem Sparklers. The flowers are from my stash. I used a MS punch for the border and a Nestabilitie for the background.

Are you having fun? Now, go on over and see Rach's fabulous creation.

MEET SPYDER

Good Morning,

Meet Spyder from the Victoria Case Mini Little Acorns Set. I have been looking for a Halloween image for my grandson and this is it. You know how little boys love spiders and bugs.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

One Stitch At A Time - Spooky Halloween - Anything Goes
Paper Sundaes - Something From Your Stash - (metal spiders)
Ooh la la Creations - Nothing Floral
The Pink Elephant - Childhood
Stampin' for the Weekend - Autumn Inspiration (use autumn colors)

You will have to excuse me if I make spelling errors, I have a migraine and my typing is a little blurry. Because of my headache this card is rather simple. The image is colored with Copics. There is some black fiber around the background of the image and the little spider webs in the corner are felt. There is actually a little spider on them, but he is hard to see. I may have overdone the spiders. The spiders are metal with rhinestones, unfortunately, I cannot tell you where I purchased them. They have been in my stash a long time.

I tried to get another angle so you could see the little spiders better. You can click on any of the pics and they will enlarge.

Please go over to the store blog here and check out the other DT projects. A reminder some of our DT showcases projects on Tuesday and others on Thursday.

Thank you so much for stopping bye. I appreciate all comments.

The white flowers with the purple centers are Prima Cottage Blossoms from SCACD. The orange are from Wild Orchid. The three pearls are Kaisercraft,
Aren't these dps pretty? They are from the Cosmo Cricket - Pixie-Licious Mini Deck. Susana has these on sale. I put ric rac around the background of the image and finished off with swirls and a bow, which I made with my Bow Easy.

ALWAYS FRIENDS

Good Morning! Oh, it is so nice to wake up to a nice cool fall morning, if only it wasn't allergy season. I had a lot of fun coloring and accenting this image. It is one of the fairies from The Pergamano More Fairies Set.
The image is colored with Copics. I got a little carried away with the Stickles, but fairies just need alot of glitz. The pink cherry blossoms are from Wild Orchid and the white are Prima Innoscence from SCACD. The paper folded strip is accented with Kaisercraft Rhinestones.
Kim is previewing a sneek peek today from the new SCACD -PALOOZA release this Friday. Also, a reminder the blog candy for this release ends tomorrow. There will be a blog hop this Friday showcasing all the stamps in this new release, please join us in all the fun.
Thank You for stopping by and have a wonderful week.

LEAVES ARE FALLING !!!!

Good Morning,

I hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend! This stamp is "Autumn" from the Victoria Case Hearts and Hugs Collection #2 for SCACD. This stamps set is one of my favorites - actually, they all end up being my favorites. I took this picture from a different angle to try and capture all the details.

As you can see, I almost didn't have enough room for my sentiment - but I made it. (YAY) The squares are from the Maya Road Foundation Chipboard Set.
I punched out the square and painted it and then stamped my sentiment. I save the outline of the square to use later on. The leaf is one that was in my stash and I added stickles to give it a lift. The image is colored with Copics and again I used stickles for accent. The leaves have a wonderful glossy shine from the Diamond Glaze I used on them. The ribbon is also from my stash and the bow was made using the Bow Easy with a pretty little rose in the center.

Thank you for stopping by.

Just a little reminder - Susana has lots of new products in the store and getting more and more.

Hugs,
