It's almost Spring !! YAY!!! Isn't this image just the sweetest? Meet "Kim's in Awe" from Elisabeth Bell Spring Sampler 2011 Set. All the images in this set are so sweet.

Suzanne gave us a fabulous sketch to work with this week. It worked really well with the image and paper I wanted to use. The image is colored with Copics with just a little Stickles on her hair bow and butterfly. The background was cut with my SB Nesties. The pretty little yellow bow was made using my Bow Easy. I have no idea where I got the sentiment, it was in my stash and the DP is CTMH.

Today I have this cute and sweet image "Lilia" (just love the name). It is from the set by Carmen Medlin for SCACD Reflections Set #2. If you haven't checked this set out - it is the cutest set.

For a change I wanted something a little different and decided to color her hair something other than natural. Lilia is colored with Copics and highlighted with Stickles. The pretty pearls are Kaisercraft. I use a lot of pearls and rhinestones and have used several different brands, but the Kaisercraft seem to hold better. The adhesive is really good. The flourish is a Maya Road Chipboard which I colored with my Copics and then applied a little Stickles. The ribbon is from my stash and the pretty bow was made using my Bow Easy.

CAMEO OF LOVE

Good Morning! What a beautiful weekend we just had here in Texas. It was sunny and 70 degrees.

Isn't this a gorgeous stamp? It is "Cameo Rose" from the Elisabeth Bell for SCACD Spring Sampler Set 2011. It can be used for Valentine, Anniversary, Mother's Day, and so many more occasions. I think it can also be very romantic looking.

The DT was challenged this week to use Red or Pink/White or Ivory. This image is embossed with Gold and the center is cut out and popped up. I used my SB to cut the background for the image and used Kaisercraft Pearls for accents. The roses are Prima which Susana has on sale right now. The lace border and the jewelry pieces are from my stash from long ago.

Here is a different angle to show the different dimensions. I think this may be my Mother's Day card this card this year. Of course, it could be used for Valentine's or any occasion.

I have the honor of presenting "Cupcake and Kittens" from Relections Set #2 by Carmen medlin.

I love the images from the set. I have 4 granddaughters and one loves cats but can't have one because her Dad is allergic to them - so guess what - this card is especially for her. Of course, since she is only 6 she loves pink and sparkle.

The image is colored with Copics. Her dress and hair bow are accented with Stickles. All little girls at some point in their life have pink glittery shoes so I had to add a little Stickles to them and also just a little in her hair. When you click on the pic and enlarge you can really see it..

The DP is from my stash and this picture is pretty true to color. The hearts on the paper have gold glitter dots on the hearts. In fact, the pictures were really hard to take because of all the glitter and bright paper. The hearts and border are MS punches and then I added a little rose in the center. The prettly little pink bow was made with my Bow Easy. This little tool has made my life so much easier and is still one of my favorite.

I have more pictures today than normal because I was playing around with some new software and wanted to see what you thought of the various shadows, etc. if you have time let me know what you think.
