Winter Friends

Good Morning,

It is a beautiful morning. The air is crisp and cool and so refreshing.  Should be a gorgeous day.

Today I would like to share one of my favorite digis - WINTER FRIENDS by Carmen Medlin for SCACD Digital.   I love owls.  In fact, we have one that visits us every night - never knew they could be so loud.  SCACD has some holiday digis also with owls that are really cute.  Check them out.

WINTER FRIENDS

The image is colored with Copics and then I used some faux snow at the bottom.  Did you notice the little pearls put here and there around the card?  They pearls are KAISERCRAFT PEARLS .

Enjoy the rest of the week and have a fabulous and fun weekend !

MR. BOBBLE HEAD

Good Morning,

Looks life fall is here.  Love the weather, but the allergies not so much.  That means my favorite season - Christmas - is just around the corner.

Bobble Heads seem to have made a big return everywhere.  So, I wanted to make a card using this CARMEN MEDLIN  for SCACD DIGITAL - BOBBLE PUMPKIN.  The sentiment comes with the image - which for me is perfect - and is funny.

BOBBLE PUMPKIN

The image is colored with a combination of Copics and NeoColors.  His head is cut out and popped up.  See the little calico cat in the corner - it was cut using the  IMPRESSION OBSESSION DIES and then I used a tiny green eye.  SCACD  has the 6 x 6 paper pads on sale now, including the holidays.

Hope you enjoyed my card and it made you laugh.

Have a wonderful week and be safe !!

You should have arrived here from Elaine's blog.  Her projects are always fabulous.

Baobab Trees

These trees are so beautiful. To me they reflect a calming and peaceful affect.  As you can see there are 2 different sizes.  These are wonderful for journaling  whether in a scrapbook, on a card, or canvas.  In fact, I am considering doing a journaling page and a canvas with them.  Of course, you can use them several different ways.  I stamped in DELICATA PIGMENT INK  - Golden Glitz.
The birds are stenciled with a CRAFTERS WORKSHOP STENCIL - CHERRY BLOSSOMS.  The sentiment on the bottom reads "Strength comes from within."

No Mixed Signals

Love Love Love the MechAnimals.  They are so much fun and your imagination can just run wild.  There is no right or wrong with these.  I really like the sentiment with this imageWith the  multi social media we live in today sometimes messages, email, twitter etc. can be taken different ways.

The image is colored with the copics. The very versatile corners are  DIES by SCACD - Garden Corners.  They cut beautifully every time.  The embellishments are from my stash.

Isn't this blog hop fun?  The projects are just outstanding.

From here please hop on over to Crystal's blog.  I am sure she has a magnificent project for you.

VERY BERRY OWL

I just love this little girl.  She is so cute and happy - I just had to make her bright and happy.

This card is so bright and cheerful.  The image is colored with Copics with a little Stickles on her lollipop and Glossy Accents on her eyes, beak, and nails.

The beautiful corner is DIES BY SCACD - Breezy Branches Statement Corner.  It is one of my favorite dies and it cuts beautifully everytime.

Home Sweet Home

Love her smiling face so I colored her bright.

Again the image is colored with Copics.  When you purchase this image you also get the sentiment.

The corners are  - DIES BY SCACD-Garden Corners.  This particular die comes in a package with 2 different dies.  Both are wonderful.

Oddly Sweet Curiosities Set #5

Look at the smile on her face !   She obviously has found her inner energy.  Did you notice the corner dies?  They are  Dies by SCACD - Garden Corners.  I also used them around the flowers after cutting a little.  The sentiment "Happiness be with you" is included with the image GOT ZEN?

Isn't he awesome and grungy in his black leather jacket?  This set is so versatile and can be used in so many different ways.

He is perched on some metal gears.  SCACD has the Idea-Ology Mini Metal Gears 12/Pkg on sale now.  The paper is Teresa Collins - Far Away as well as the Travel Log tab which I cut from one of the pages.

The gorgeous compass die is Dies by SCACD - Contempo Compass Statement Corner.  I think it finished off the card very nicely.

HUGS,

THE SIMPLE LIFE

MONSTER CHILL

Good Morning and Happy Friday !!

This morning I have a rather simple card.  You know how sometimes life gets kinda hard and you just want simple.  I guess that's the mood I was in this week.

This cute image makes me smile.  It is from the SUSANA LOVES STAMPS -  THE ODDLY SWEET CURIOSITIES SET - MONSTER CHILL.  He looks as if he doesn't have a care in the word and the sentiment was on one of the sheets in the paper pad so I cut it out.  I guess that is kinda cheating.

DIES BY SCACD - LEAFY BRANCHES

The beautiful die is a DIE BY SCACD - LEAFY BRANCHES.  What is so cool about this die is that you can cut it apart and use the leaves with flowers or even attach on another tree that may be on the paper or another die.

The flowers and rhinestones are from my stash.  The border is from the paper pad.

Have a wonderful weekend and I hope to see you back here next week.

HUGS,

MOMENTS

TIME FLIES

Good Morning and HAPPY FRIDAY !!

Today I have created something a little different.  It can be a tag, bookmark, or used in a scrapbook layout.  The image is TIME FLIES  from FAIRY DUST COLLECTION by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD.  If you haven't seen this collection it is so versatile and cute.  The background is various stamps and different colors of teal and burgundy with washi tape at the bottom.  On her wings I used GOLD GEO SHAPED SPARKLERS.

CLASSIC TIMEPIECE

Just looooove this die.  It is so detailed and cuts beautifully.  It is  DIES by SCACD - CLASSIC TIMEPIECE.  After I cut it I sponged a little DELICATA Pigment Ink - Golden Glitz on it to give it a distressed looked and then applied mod podge over it and added some brads.

This is a picture to show how it can be used on a scrapbook layout.  It isn't a very good picture because I don't have anything glued down - still playing around with it.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.  You can click on any of the pictures and they will enlarge.

HUGS,
