Fall Daisies

This is a closeup of the stamp by Lockhart.

Hello Ya'll !! I made this card a while back and since fall is almost over decided I better get it posted. This Lockhart stamp is so lovely I feel like I really didn't do it justice. I struggled getting this card to come together. The image is heat embossed and colored with Copics.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Simon Says - All That Sparkles - the daisies definitely sparkle

I cut the entire image out once and then layered each flower individually.

The inside has a pocket on the bottom with a small card to write on. Again the image is heat embossed and colored with Copics and stickles applied.
Thank you so much for stopping by and viewing my cards. I appreciate it.

I will be posting blog candy this weekend sometime, so be sure and check back.

LET IT SNOW !!!

Good Morning to Everyone !! I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend.

Our challenge this week for TIOT was Metal Musingl. It could be brads, eyelets, charms or anything metal. I love to use charms so it is a great challenge for me.

Doesn't this image make you want it to snow so you can go out and play or just take your dog for a walk? The first snow is always so refreshing and glistening.

This image is from the Victoria Case "Winter Wonderland Collection" for SCACD. It is called Winter. She is so happy she makes you want to smile !! The stamps in this collection are really awesome. Check them out, they are different than just your ordinary Christmas stamps.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Forever Friends
- Christmas
PaperPlay - Favorite Embellishment
Three Clovers Designs #36 - Sketch
Daring Cardmakers - 5 Favorite Things - Charm, ribbon, flowersoft, rhinestones, punches
BasicGrey Challenge Week #6 - Color combo - Green, Red, Blue
Creative Card Crew - Snowflakes
Simon Says Challenge - All That Sparkles
Daring Cardmakers - Get Punchy - I used my new snowflake punch

I stamped and heat embossed the image and colored her with Copics. I used the Polar White Flower soft around her jacket and the ground. I added a little Doodlebug White glitter to FS before I applied it. It makes it glisten so nicely. I used an EK success snowflake punch on the background layer and put little rhinestones in the middle of each snowflake. Now, here is a cool thing. The snowflake charm was actually pewter and I painted it with Gold Shimmerz paint and applied a little stickles to it and added the rhinestone. To get the perfect bow, I used "Bow Easy" which you can get at Susana's store.

The snowflakes on the background paper is embossed and has glitter. The camera only picked up a little. Other than that, the inside is pretty simple. I stamped a few snowflakes and sponged a little and that's it.

Be sure to check out all the other DT samples. You can check them out here.

I appreciate you stopping by. Just a reminder, I will be posting blog candy on the 1st for a drawing on the 10th.

This image is colored with Copics and then I used 4 or 5 different colors of Spica pens for accent. It really does add a nice sparkle. If you click on the top picture you can see it. I applied a little Autumn Flower Soft under the pumpkins. The gem brads are some I picked up at a scrapbook show. They are really gorgeous in person, they have such a sparkle with a 3D dimension look. The background was punched with a MS punch. To totally finish it, I added the leaf ribbon.

Table Setting for TIOT

Good Morning!

It's Try It out Tuesday !! Our challenge this week was to make something for the table. It could be a centerpiece, menu, place setting card or whatever you could dream and create. I decided to stamp on a napkin and make a napkin ring along with a place card.

I have never stamped and colored on fabric before so this was a first for me. I stamped with Momento ink and colored with Copics. Basically, I found it is the same as coloring on cardstock except you only dab it on. With the napkin being gold, the color is not as vibrant as I would like, but it turned out okay. I used a nice Cornucopia stamp by Lockhart from SCACD. These stamps always stamp really crisp. I cut the napkin ring with a scalloped edge and then glued on a straight band of another paper and applied the colored stamp. The images on the napkin ring and place card were colored with Copics then I applied Crystal Effects on the fruit to give it a nice shiny appearance.

The place is simple. I cut a 5 x 4 1/4 piece of cardstock, cut a coordination paper 4 1/2 x 3 3/4 and stitched around the edges. Then, cut the name out and glue it on and added glitter dots finish it off.

Please check out the other DT members projects. With the holidays just around the corner, you might find one you would like to try.

Thank you for stopping by, I appreciate it.

BFF'S

Is this image the cutest ever? It is called BFF'S from the new release today - Victoria Case for SCACD - WINTER WONDERLAND . I have 3 cats and 3 dogs and they are the best friends forever. The little girl reminds me of my granddaughter Nicole. She is almost 5 and she loves the cats. This stamp set has the cutest and most fun winter stamps I have seen so far.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Creative Inspirations Challenge - Christmas in October
Whimsy Stamps Challenge - Get Punchy
Creative Card Crew Challenge - Scallops
Everybody Art Challenge - Shapes or punches
Paperplay Challenge - Favorite Embellishment
Stamp Something Challenge - Bling It
Creative Inspiration Wednesday - Family
Sunday Sketch and Stamp

The stamp is heat embossed and colored with Copics. Since I am still using my phone to take pictures, you cannot see the shimmerz on her shoes, her nightgown trim, and the stocking. There is also stickles on the stocking and her hair bows. I used the new Petaloo Dazzlers with branches and fronds from MS punches. The layer under the image is also a MS punch. The ribbon is run through punches from a SU slot punch. The metal sentiment holder is part of the SU Hodgepodge. The DP is CTMH. To finish it off I added a cute little stocking charm.

The inside is pretty simple with stitching. If you click on the pictures they will enlarge.

Please visit all the DT members blogs to see all the amazing and fabulous designs.

Susana has a lot of new products in her store so check it out. The new Petaloo Dazzlers and the Prima Say it in Pearls Bling.

LET's DO THE BLOG HOP

Good Morning to you all !!

Today we are having a blog hop for the new release. Please join in the fun. You have until 11:00 EST to enter for the blog candy. Each DT member is showcasing a new PROJECT.

I am so excited about the new release "Victoria Case SCACD - "Winter Wonderland". These stamps are so much fun and just so darn cute. Sorry about the pictures, I had to take them with my phone because I dropped my camera and, of course, I wait until the last minute to take the pics and post. Anyway, isn't SKATER just too cute? Her face is so full of joy and happiness.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Creative Inspirations Challenge - Christmas in October
Whimsy Stamps Challenge - Get Punchy
Creative Card Crew Challenge - Scallops
Everybody Art Challenge - Shapes or punches
Paperplay Challenge - Favorite Embellishment
Stamp Something Challenge - Bling It

I cut the box out with double sided cardstock. The swirls on the paper are embossed with glitter. I couldn't pick it up it very well in the picture to show you. I ran some pretty pink shiny ribbon through the top and made a matching bow. SKATER is heat embossed and colored with Copics with a little stickles on her hat, jacket and pom poms on her shoes. The pockets on her jacket are glossed with Crystal Effects. Check out the bow. I have always had trouble making pretty bows, UNTIL I got the Bow Easy. If you haven't checked it yet, you should. It makes life so much easier and less frustrating.

Here is a side view. I used the MS punches for the Snowflakes and the border.

Now on the hopping. If you came here first, then you need to go back to the beginning to Susan's blog . Now you need to go to Carolyn's.

DON"T FORGET you have until 11:00 EST tonight to enter for the blog candy.

All of the DT is showcasing a different stamp and different project. They are totally awesome. Stop by and see them all. The stamps Victoria Case for SCACD - Winter Wonderland will be available tomorrow for purchase. Mark you calendars, you don't want to miss out on these.

THANKS

Good Morning !!! This week kinda snuck up on me. Suzanne wanted the DT to show you how versatile The Special Edition Ornament set by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD can be. They can be used for so many different occasions. I used the Partridge in a Pear Tree image to say Thanks. I can think of many other ways to use this image - Just For You - A Gift For You - Happy Birthday - I am sure you can think of more.

I am entering this card in the Cupcake Craft Challenge - Thanks a Bunch and the ABC Challenge - E is for embossing - the image is heat embossed.

It has been a really long time since I made a Pocket Card. I forgot how much fun they are to make. I heat embossed the image and colored it with Copics. Then to make her dress a little fancy, I added Inspirations to the leaves on her dress and hair. Her socks have Shimmerz. The pears have Crystal Effects added to them for shine and the ribbon and pot have just a little Stickles. The punched (MS punches) background is popped up to add dimension. To finish it off I added flatback pearls.

The inside is pretty basic, I just added a lace bow. Talking about bows - let me get a little side tracked. If you have not tried the BOW EASY - you must. They are only $5.00 and the bows are perfect every time. Now back on track. The sentiment is heat embossed and tied with a gold cord. This card is really prettier in person. I will have to give it to someone special.

Be sure and check out the other DT samples here. They are awesome !!

Thank you for stopping by. If you have time, please drop me a short note.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

BOO !! It's time for another TIOT, but this week it is Try It Out Thursday due to the two new mini releases. If you haven't already checked out the new releases, you do not know what you are missing. Gotta go see them at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design.

Suzanne challenged us this week to make a fall or Halloween card. I chose one of the new Lockhart Window Stamps from SCACD. Karen has started a new seasonal window collection - this image is the Halloween Window. Go to SCACD and check them out. They are really nice for the upcoming holidays.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Creative Inspirations Wednesday - Letter or Numbers - Have spooky letters

ABC Challenge - Embossing - Have heat embossing

Charisma Cardz - Decoupage - Pumpkin and leaves

Dutch Dare Card Challenge - So Charming - Spiders

Cupcake Craft Challenge - Cute as a Bug - Do spiders count?

Creative Card Crew - All that sparkles - Stickles on the curtains and the black edging around letters and shimmerez and inspirations.

The Pink Elephant Challenge - Black, Orange, Purple, and White

The cool green background paper by SEI is heat embossed. The image is heat embossed and I colored it with Copics and popped it up. I cut out a few extra leaves. The pumpkin is also popped. All of the leaves are glossed with Crystal Effects. The Spider brads are metal with a really nice rhinestone. I believe I got them at Michael's. The buttons are accented with Purple Waxy Flax. I added some Sage Inspirations Paint on the BOO, used some Spica pens here and there, and of course, added some Stickles to the tattered curtains. The fiber is from my stash. I also used Autumn Flower Soft under the pumpkin and flower box ledge.

I wanted to try and show you the different dimensions on this card.

The is a picture of the top inside of the card. I added some more of the brads only because I like them, but the paper by itself would have been fine.

Be sure and check out the other DT samples here. They are sensational.

Thank you for stopping by. If you have time please let me know how I am doing.
