STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE - TIOT

Good Morning from Texas. This image is "Little Marti" from the new Spring Collection by Victoria Case for SCACD.
We had a really fun challenge this week. It was a movie Challenge. We had to use an image that reminded us of a movie. As soon as I saw this little girl with the big hat it reminded me of Strawberry Shortcake. I had a small strawberry stamp that I used for the strawberries on her hat. I colored the stamp and then stamped it. To make her hat a little sparkly I decided to use some Smooch Illuminate on the pink. It worked perfectly. She was colored with Copics with a little Stickles added to her shirt and the strawberries. Crystal Effects was used to gloss the teacup, saucer, plate, and pan. The paper lace was made from my MS punch. The flowers were sprayed with Smooch Spritz -Vanilla Shimmer to give them a nice little sparkle. To finish her off, I made a bow with my Bow Easy and added a strawberry charm. You can click on any of the pictures to enlarge them if you want to see the sparkle.

This is the second Easel Card I have made. I don't know why I haven't made more. I really enjoy making them.

I am going to enter Strawberry Shortcake in the following challenges:

Cute Daisy May - Anything Goes
Ooh La La Creations - Anything Goes
Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Sparkly things (strawberries and her hat)
Crafty Creations - Make your own flowers
Creative Inspirations - Charm
One Stop Craft Challenge - Spots and Dots (flowers and white w/pink dots)
Saturday Spotlight SSHP22 - You're so slick (Crystal effects on dishes)
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Anything Goes
My Time to Craft Challenge - Lace (Paper lace)

The background lattice was made with my deep edge punch from MS. The strawberry stamp is one I had in my stash. The flatback pearls are also from my stash.

I hope you have enjoyed viewing this card.

Thank you for stopping by. Now go on over to the store blog and see what the other DT members have come up with. They have really come up with some good movies. They are so creative and talented.

Also, Susana has the new Basic Grey Kioshi and Green at Heart paper in stock, as well, as the new Lockhart stamps .

Hugs,
