Good Morning,

Well, after a year away from crafting I am having fun playing with different products.  This week I played with Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays and experimented with different elements. These included metal pieces, cork, wood veneer, chevron stencil, chipboard, lace, stamps, washi tape and just whatever I felt like adding.  However, I may have gotten carried away with this tag.  It was still lots of fun.  Any of the pictures can be clicked on to enlarge.

This tag is going to be entered into the Lindys Stamp Gang April Color Challenge. The color selections are beautiful for spring. 

There are 5 colors in the challenge, but only a minimum of 2 have to be used.  I used a little of all 5 and added A Bit O'Bubbly for a little sparkle and South Shore Sand.  It is hard to see it in the pictures, but it gave it a really nice effect.  The colors in the challenge are:

Pink Ladies Pink

Summer Lovin' Sun

Magnolia Magenta Gold

Greased Lightnin' Green

Tilt A Wheel Teal

The arrow pointing down is a cork sticker.  It was first sprayed with the South Shore Sand and then A Bit O'Bubbly was added for sparkle. The chevron is a stencil.


The leaves and the flower are metal pieces.  For the flower I used Magnolia Magenta Gold and Pink Ladies Pink. The leaves were sprayed with Grease Lightin' Green and highlighted with Summer Lovin' Sun and again a A Bit of O'Bubbly.

The chipboard leaves were sprayed with Grease Lightin' Green and highlighted with Summer Lovin' Sun and A Bit of O'Bubbly.

BE COURAGEOUS - BE KIND

WOW, I can't believe it has been over a year since I have crafted and created anything. Looks like I need to update my blog templates also.

I have lots of the Lindy's Stamps Gang Sprays and decided to use them for the Color Challenge this month.  

This canvas has lots of layers and along the way I made several mistakes.  The great thing about mixed media - that's okay.  It was fun.  Sorry the pictures are not as clear as I would like.  It seems I have even forgotten how to take good pictures.  The pictures can be enlarged by clicking on them.

The little 4 x 4 canvas in the center is an Indigo Blue Stamp with several sprays.

Every color in the challenge for this month was used.  Some of the colors I blended and love the results. 

I used Magnolia Magenta Gold on this flower and the gold from the spray gives it a really nice shine, even though the pic doesn't quiet reveal it.

Pink Ladies Pink, Summer Lovin' Sun, Magnolia Magenta Gold, Greased Lightin' Green, and Tilt a Wheel Teal.  They are available to purchase in a set or individually.

Hopefully, I will get my mojo back and have the time to start crafting again.  I soooooo missed it and love it.

This cute image is JUST FOR LOVE.  My granddaughter loves owls and I thought this is just perfect for Valentines Day.  She is colored with Prismas and Copics.  Added some washi tape and a few embellishments from my stash.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Hi Everyone,

The holiday seasons are upon us.  This is my favorite time of the year.  I love the lights, family, and celebrating the birth of Christ and seeing all the kids faces so happy and shining on Christmas morning.

To help ring in the holidays I made a simple card to share with you.  The image is a digi from Carmen Medlin Digitals for SCACD - Christmas Owl  Since the papers are so busy I kept it simple and just used papers, punch, and rhinestones.  The image is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and highlighted with Stickles and Gloss.

Harvest Greetings

Good Morning,

Today is going to be a beautiful crisp Fall day.  Thanksgiving will be here soon and everyone has something to be thankful for.  Happy Happy time of the year.

I couldn't wait to share this cute little owl with you  He is so versatile.  It is a Carmen Medlin for SCACD Digital - GOTHIE OWL.  As so many of you do - I love owls and can't get enough of them. There are some of all styles HERE.  In fact next week I will have another one to share with you

The image is colored with Copics and I put some crackle on his belly, gloss on his nails and eyes  and finished the card with some Stickles.  The background paper was just plain so I added some purple glitz. The spiders are from my stash.

Winter Friends

Good Morning,

It is a beautiful morning. The air is crisp and cool and so refreshing.  Should be a gorgeous day.

Today I would like to share one of my favorite digis - WINTER FRIENDS by Carmen Medlin for SCACD Digital.   I love owls.  In fact, we have one that visits us every night - never knew they could be so loud.  SCACD has some holiday digis also with owls that are really cute.  Check them out.

The image is colored with Copics and then I used some faux snow at the bottom.  Did you notice the little pearls put here and there around the card?  They pearls are KAISERCRAFT PEARLS .

MR. BOBBLE HEAD

Good Morning,

Looks life fall is here.  Love the weather, but the allergies not so much.  That means my favorite season - Christmas - is just around the corner.

Bobble Heads seem to have made a big return everywhere.  So, I wanted to make a card using this CARMEN MEDLIN  for SCACD DIGITAL - BOBBLE PUMPKIN.  The sentiment comes with the image - which for me is perfect - and is funny.

The image is colored with a combination of Copics and NeoColors.  His head is cut out and popped up.  See the little calico cat in the corner - it was cut using the  IMPRESSION OBSESSION DIES and then I used a tiny green eye.  SCACD  has the 6 x 6 paper pads on sale now, including the holidays.
