You should have arrived here from one of our fantastic guests - DELPHINE.

I just love this little girl.  She is so cute and happy - I just had to make her bright and happy.

This card is so bright and cheerful.  The image is colored with Copics with a little Stickles on her lollipop and Glossy Accents on her eyes, beak, and nails.

The beautiful corner is DIES BY SCACD - Breezy Branches Statement Corner.  It is one of my favorite dies and it cuts beautifully everytime.

Love her smiling face so I colored her bright.

Again the image is colored with Copics.  When you purchase this image you also get the sentiment.

The corners are  - DIES BY SCACD-Garden Corners.  This particular die comes in a package with 2 different dies.  Both are wonderful.

Isn't this blog hop fun?  I love seeing all the different projects.  From here you should go to another one of our amazing guests - CHRISTINE and see the wonderful projects she has for you.

Have a wonderful and safe weekend !!

TWO NEW FUN RELEASES

Good Morning,

Today Susana Loves Stamps releases yet another round of these FUN little pranksters the Oddly Sweet Curiosities! With their universal appeal the Curiosities were just begging for another turn in the spotlight with a new release. These little guys are the perfect way to provoke a smile or a laugh. We're addicted, and from the popularity of the previous sets we know you will be too! Susana Loves Stamps is also showcasing a fresh new line: the MechAnimals. This edgy but endearing range of SteamPunk animals will lend themselves to all sorts of projects and styles and earn a place in your crafty hearts.

Grab a cup of something yummy and enjoy the show!

We are also  having a fun and exciting  blog hop so you should have arrived here from one of the most talented artist - Elaine's blog.

Look at the smile on her face !   She obviously has found her inner energy.  Did you notice the corner dies?  They are  Dies by SCACD - Garden Corners.  I also used them around the flowers after cutting a little.  The sentiment "Happiness be with you" is included with the image GOT ZEN?

Isn't he awesome and grungy in his black leather jacket?  This set is so versatile and can be used in so many different ways.

He is perched on some metal gears.  SCACD has the Idea-Ology Mini Metal Gears 12/Pkg on sale now.  The paper is Teresa Collins - Far Away as well as the Travel Log tab which I cut from one of the pages.

The gorgeous compass die is Dies by SCACD - Contempo Compass Statement Corner.  I think it finished off the card very nicely.

SCACD Digital is a new adventure for Susana and will see the revival of "some" past releases available in rubber, and the addition of some fresh new fun! They are available now for purchase but watch out for some fun from the design team and friends to showcase the digital releases in the near future! SCACD Digital's first collaboration is Carmen Medlin for SCACD Digital. Carmen's range will definitely have something for everyone, from elegant to adorable and everything in between.
Get them HERE .

NOTE: Elisabeth Bell and Victoria Case stamps will NOT be offered as digital images by SCACD.

Now from here please hop on over to another stunning artist - Alex's  blog.  She has some wonderful projects for you to see.

For my international friends, these can be purchased from QUIXOTIC PAPERIE.

Glad you could join us today and hope you enjoyed all the projects and the new releases.

Have a wonderful weekend!

THE SIMPLE LIFE

Good Morning and Happy Friday !!

This morning I have a rather simple card.  You know how sometimes life gets kinda hard and you just want simple.  I guess that's the mood I was in this week.

This cute image makes me smile.  It is from the SUSANA LOVES STAMPS -  THE ODDLY SWEET CURIOSITIES SET - MONSTER CHILL.  He looks as if he doesn't have a care in the word and the sentiment was on one of the sheets in the paper pad so I cut it out.  I guess that is kinda cheating.

The beautiful die is a DIE BY SCACD - LEAFY BRANCHES.  What is so cool about this die is that you can cut it apart and use the leaves with flowers or even attach on another tree that may be on the paper or another die.

The flowers and rhinestones are from my stash.  The border is from the paper pad.

Have a wonderful weekend and I hope to see you back here next week.

MOMENTS

Good Morning and HAPPY FRIDAY !!

Today I have created something a little different.  It can be a tag, bookmark, or used in a scrapbook layout.  The image is TIME FLIES  from FAIRY DUST COLLECTION by Elisabeth Bell for SCACDIf you haven't seen this collection it is so versatile and cute.  The background is various stamps and different colors of teal and burgundy with washi tape at the bottom.  On her wings I used GOLD GEO SHAPED SPARKLERS.

Just looooove this die.  It is so detailed and cuts beautifully.  It is  DIES by SCACD - CLASSIC TIMEPIECE.  After I cut it I sponged a little DELICATA Pigment Ink - Golden Glitz on it to give it a distressed looked and then applied mod podge over it and added some brads.

This is a picture to show how it can be used on a scrapbook layout.  It isn't a very good picture because I don't have anything glued down - still playing around with it.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.  You can click on any of the pictures and they will enlarge.

KEY TO MY HEART

Good Morning and Happy Friday!!

I just got back home from visiting my daughter and grandkids in TN.  It was a nice relaxing week and always fun to see the kids.  My granddaughter called me a couple of weeks ago and wanted to know if I could come see them and stay a couple of days and go to grandparents day with her.  It not only made her happy, but made me feel really really happy that she wanted me to go to her school and meet her teacher and friends.

The project I am sharing today is a canvas.  I have been wanting to try one with all the tissue paper, paint, embellishments, etc.  It was really fun creating it and just trying different products.  I will say it took me a long time to do it, but I think that was because I had not ever tried to do one before now.

It started out as a white 5 x 7 canvas.  Then I applied black gesso and let it dry.  The key tissue paper was sent to me by a very very dear friend and I have been wanting to use it for a long time.  The image KEY TO MY HEART  is just perfect with it.  The metal gears are Idea-Ology Mini Metal Gears.  They are on sale - 20% off at SCACD.  Also, in the store are some beautiful canvas birds - Prima Resist Canvas - BirdsThe chain, keys, and flowers and from my stash.

Did you notice the beautiful key corner die  in the upper left corner?  This die comes in a package with another die - Dies by SCACD - Fancy FLower and Key Corners.  I love using dies and even though these are detailed they cut the first time.

This is just another picture to show up close the chipboard bird cage.  There is a product called glass bead gel and I mixed it with acrylic paint and love the texture.   Remember you can click on any of the photos and they will enlarge.  If you have time let me know what you think of my first real canvas !!

Have a wonderful weekend!

FAIRY DUST COLLECTION - NEW RELEASE

LITTLE ACORNS, BIG DREAMS
Good Morning,

Today SCACD is introducing the FAIRY DUST COLLECTION !!! These are 6 sweet and sassy Fairys that just make you smile and brighten the day :D  Elisabeth Bell sprinkled just the right amount of cute, charm and gorgeous on to these special little fairys. These are stamps for right now but also classics to use years from now :D

Before I get to the details of my image - you should have arrived here from WENDY'S blog.  She is a guest designer this week and has a fabulous project for you.

The image I am sharing is LITTLE ACORNS, BIG DREAMS.  She is soooo sweet.  Actually, all the fairies in this collection are super sweet.  The picture really doesn't show all the detail.  She is colored with a combination of Copics and SHINHAN MARKERS.  For the embossing I used a COUTURE CREATIONS FOLDER - EXOTIC. The mushroom dots and acorns are highlighed with gloss and the wings are highlighted with STICKLES.  The other embellies are from my stash.

Hope you are enjoying the hop and all the wonderful projects.
International friends can purchase these at Quixotic Paperie

For the dies by SCACD here.
